How to Upload a Transcript

Uploading a transcript is simple and straightforward. Follow these steps to ensure a seamless process.

Step 1: Navigate to Transcripts

Go to the Transcripts section and click the New Transcript Request button.

Fill out the required information for your transcript, including:

  • Number of Speakers
  • Preferred Turnaround Time
  • Link your transcript to a specific project. Once you have a project, you can also organize it by adding it to a specific folder within the project.

Step 2: Customize Your Transcript Dynamics

Next, navigate to the Transcript Dynamics section and provide additional details, such as:

  • Desired File Formats: Choose the format you want your transcript in.
  • Timestamps: Indicate if timestamps are needed.
  • Verbatim Data Capture: Select if you need every word captured.
  • Data De-identification: Opt for removing sensitive data if required.
  • Additional Notes: Add any special instructions or preferences for your transcript.

Step 3: Upload Your Files

Once all details are complete, start uploading your files:

  • You can upload files directly from your computer.
  • Alternatively, provide a publicly accessible URL for hosted files, as long as the files are downloadable.

Uploading Large or Multiple Files

When uploading large files or multiple files in a single ticket, the upload time depends on the speed and quality of your internet connection.

Landmark offers a free upload service for audio files. If you need help, contact us via the online chat (located in the bottom-right corner), and one of our specialists will be happy to assist you.

Step 4: Confirm Your Details and Submit

After uploading your files, review all the transcription details to ensure everything is correct.

  1. Once verified, click Finish: Submit, and we'll begin processing your request.
  2. Once your order is submitted, you'll see a confirmation screen with the What Would You Like to Do Next? menu.

From here, you can choose to:

  • Create a New Transcript Request
  • Create a New Transcript Request with the Same Specifications
  • Close the Request
