How to calculate your transcription price

In this article, we guide you through a quick and easy way to calculate the price of your transcript. Here's a step-by-step process to get an instant estimate.

1. Access the Research Study Cost Calculator

Log in to your Landmark account and select Price Calc from the Tools menu on the left sidebar.

2. Fill Out the Form

Enter the details of your research project:

  • Language Selection: Choose the source and target language
  • Audio Duration: Enter the length of your audio in minutes
  • Audio Quality: Select the quality level of your recording
  • Verbatim Level: Choose between verbatim or non-verbatim transcription
  • Accent Level: Indicate if there are accents in the audio
  • Time Stamps: Select if you need timestamps included
  • Speakers: Choose the number of speakers in your recording

3. Get Your Estimate

Your estimated cost will appear automatically on the right side, showing the base rate, any add-ons, and the total price. You can also see a detailed Cost Breakdown table below the form. Once you are ready, click "Get Your Transcripts" to proceed with your order.
