How can I request a transcript?
This step-by-step guide helps you easily submit a request and obtain your transcripts, ensuring accurate and timely results for your audio files.
Create a new Ticket
- In the left side menu, locate the "Transcripts" option. Simply click on the "+" sign to begin creating your ticket

2. Set Up Initial Specifications
You will then be taken to a window where you will be asked to provide the specific details for your audio file:
Step 1: Transcript Information

- Project Name: The title desired for your Transcription
- Number of Speakers: Add the number of participants
- Source Language
- Turnaround Time: In this section, you can select either Standard or Rush Service to meet your specific transcription needs
- Triggering Controls: Informs our transcriptionists in advance, allowing them to be mindful regarding any special flag and instruction

- Select Project or Create a New Project: Choose an existing project for your transcript or create a new one
- Select Folder or Create a New Folder: Choose an existing folder for your transcript or create a new folder
- Share Folder: Share with other participants: Choose an existing participant for your transcript or create a new participant
Step 2: Transcript Dynamics

- File Format (doc, docx, PDF, txt, RTF, SRT)
- Timestamps
- With/Without or Non-verbatim Transcription
- Tracked Voice / Non-tracked Voice Options
- Research Project: Yes/No
- Speaker Labels
- Additional Notes
Step 3: Upload your Media File

Select the option Click to Upload or Drag and drop and start uploading your recordings

- You can add 1 or more files to complete your request.
If you do not wish your whole folder to be transcribed, you can select the checkbox "I want to get selected files transcribed only" and set up this option.

Step 4: Confirm your order

- Review all specifications and click on "Save" button to submit your order.
5. Create a new Ticket or wait for your Ticket to be processed

At this point, you can create a new ticket, create new ticket or wait for your ticket to be processed.
